Project Summary: In this project I will be creating a lacrosse stick from scratch. I hope to have a complete stick and pocket and have played with it by the end of the year. I believe that if you pt your mind into this kind of project you can complete it.

Overview

1) Objective/Goal

I hope to create a complete lacrosse stick made out of wood. Also I hope to have played with it a bunch and it works correctly. It will look like a modern day lacrosse stick (as shown below).

2) Rationale

The reason why I am doing this is because I have played lacrosse for 8 years now and I would like to make a stick and see how it turns out. Also, I would like to see others see what I can do and see how much I love my sport.

3) Steps to Take

1. Find the wood to make the stick.
2. Make a sketch of what it will look like.
3. Start with the shaft and move up from there.
4. Build the head.
5. Put stick body and head together.
6. Paint the stick.
7. Build the pocket.
8. Completion of the stick.
9. Play with the stick.
10. Make changes if needed.
11. Make power point of each step and finished part of step.
12. Present to class.
