Ok, so I found out that the building of the lacrosse stick is going to go over the time I have available for me to do this project. So I will be moving on to my back up project which is photography. My mom and I have talked about this and she is going to talk to one of her photography friends and see if I can go and hangout with her and learn how to canvas print and develop pictures. I will be updating my page with some pictures I have already taken soon.

Project: 20% Time Project
Project Start Date:
Completion Date:
Supporters: Mrs.Browning, my Mom, my Dad, and my friends.
Project Summary: In this project I will be creating a lacrosse stick from scratch. I hope to have a complete stick and pocket and have played with it by the end of the year. I believe that if you pt your mind into this kind of project you can complete it.
Overview
1) Objective/Goal
I hope to create a complete lacrosse stick made out of wood. Also I hope to have played with it a bunch and it works correctly. It will look like a modern day lacrosse stick (as shown below).
2) Rationale
The reason why I am doing this is because I have played lacrosse for 8 years now and I would like to make a stick and see how it turns out. Also, I would like to see others see what I can do and see how much I love my sport.
3) Steps to Take
- Find the wood to make the stick.
- Make a sketch of what it will look like.
- Start with the shaft and move up from there.
- Build the head.
- Put stick body and head together.
- Paint the stick.
- Build the pocket.
- Completion of the stick.
- Play with the stick.
- Make changes if needed.
- Make power point of each step and finished part of step.
- Present to class.
